Eligibility

  • A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB)

  • A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology(PCM/PCB) for
    • Candidates belonging to SC/ST
    • Students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and from the North Easten States of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh

  • Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics(PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes

  • Physics, Chemistry & Biology(PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatcics & Biotechnology programmes

  • Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in March/April 2007 are also eligible.

Science & Humanities - Undergraduate Programmes

B.Sc. Biotechnology

B.Sc. Microbiology
A pass in higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Examination or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany / Zoology or Biology as subjects.
B.Sc. (Computer Science)

B.C.A (Bachelor in Computer Applications)
A pass in the final examination under Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Examination or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
B.Com(with Computer Applications)A pass in higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Examination or its equivalent examination. (For B.Com. course preference will be given to the students who studied Commerce as one of the subjects)
