“All colleges of Anna University, Coimbatore, irrespective of whether they are located in rural area or in a city, will offer all the facilities that are being promised by the university. Students should not bother about the location of the college,” he told The Hindu.

He is also confident that now students would get a chance to study in colleges located close to their place of residence and will not have to travel long distances or spend on hostels on the pretext of not finding an engineering college at a viable distance.
