Submission of Online Option/Preference Form for CAP Round-II & III and Confirmation at
ARC and the Counseling Round of Admission (CAP Round-IV) of the Centralized
Admission Process (CAP) of the Academic Year 2007-08
This Notification is being issued only for the eligible candidates to be admitted to seats available for
respective CAP rounds of admission in First Year of Four Year Degree courses in
Engineering/Technology
in the institutes participating in the CAP.
Eligible Candidates:
Such Maharashtra State (MHT-CET-CET 2007 qualified) candidates and MS &
OMS (AIEEE-2007 Paper 1 qualified) candidates, who are eligible to participate in respective CAP
Round(s). Separate lists of candidates eligible to participate in each of CAP Round II, III & IV, will be
published on the website as per schedule and shall be subject to the 'Rules of Reporting' set out in the
Annexure-I of the Information Brochure.
In pursuance of the order passed by the Hon'ble High Court, Mumbai, in the WP(L) no. 1543/2007,
following Institute is also included in the CAP Round-II, III and IV.

Filling up of the Online Option/Preference Form for CAP Round-II & III and Confirmation
at the ARC:
The “
Online Option/Preference Form” for CAP Rounds II & III, will be made available on the official
website:-
www.dte.org.in/fe2007only to the candidates eligible to participate in respective CAP Rounds.
Candidates eligible to participate in CAP Round II & III, are required to
:-
1.
Fill in and submit the Online Option/Preference Form of the CAP Round i.e. II & III as per the
schedule, using own Application-ID and Password.
2.
Take a printout of the Online Option/Preference Form for each CAP Round i.e. II & III, sign it and
confirm the same
in personat any ARC. Pay processing fees of Rs.100/- in cash at the ARC.
3.
Get the Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement letter of the confirmation of the OnlineOption/Preference form for each CAP Round duly signed by the ARC officer along with seal of
that ARC office. Confirmation of online Option form of each CAP Round at ARC is
MANDATORY for getting possible allotment (if any).
Note:
1.
Above mentioned steps are MANDATORYfor all eligible MS & OMS candidates. Online submitted
Option Form for CAP Round-II & III will be considered valid for further processing only after the
confirmation is done at the ARC. Online filled Option Form for each CAP Round, which is not
confirmed at ARC will be rejected. No other mode of submission and/or confirmation of
option/preference form is permitted.
2.
AIEEE qualified eligible MS candidates will have to submit & confirm separate option forms for
admission against available MS & AIEEE seats in CAP Rounds II & III.
3.
Candidates are required to pay Rs.100/- in cash at ARC as a processing fee for participation in each of
CAP Round II, III & IV.
4.
There will be no change in the type of the candidature, Home University etc.
5.
For details of seats available in each CAP round and list(s) of candidates eligible to participate in each
CAP round, refer to the website www.dte.org.in/fe2007.
Reporting after allotment of CAP Round II & III:
1. The provisional allotment through CAP Round II & III shall be displayed on www.dte.org.in/fe2007, at
ARCs and also at the allotted institutes. No separate allotment letter will be issued to candidates.
2. After the display of allotment of CAP Round II & III, the candidate should report to the allotted
Institute wherein they have been allotted a seat (if any) as per the respective schedule given below and
as per the Rules of Reporting for CAP Round II & III, mentioned in Annexure-I of the Information
Brochure. Candidates shall report to the allotted institute with
ALL original certificatesand the
Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement letter
of Online CAP Application form.
3. Principals/Directors of respective institutes are required to carefully scrutinize all the required
documents submitted by the candidates at the time of reporting. It is mandatory for the respective
Institute to carry out “
Online Update” of the confirmation of the candidate’s admission at the Institute,
on DTE website through their Institute’s login immediately when the candidate is being admitted at the
Institute.

Only MS candidates whose names have appeared in the list of candidates eligible to participate in the
CAP Round-IV, are required to appear in person at the following Center of Admission as per the
schedule:
