The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET) for admission to Under-Graduate courses, i.e. MBBS and BDS will be held on Sunday, 17th May 2009 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form.
The application form alongwith Bulletin of Information (BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi, in the following manner:

  1. By hand for Rs. 550.00 (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) between 10:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. on all working days from 27th February, 2009 to 02nd April, 2009.
  2. By Post for Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six hundred only) along with a self addressed envelope of 10” x 8” upto 17th March, 2009.
  3. BOI is not available against “Cash Payment”.
The application form along with BOI can also be obtained, by hand only, from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences.

Educational Qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course:
The candidates must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Female candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC)/Schedule Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows & Wives of Armed & Para Military Personnel (CWWAPP) category who have passed qualifying examination from Indian Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College. The condition of studying 11th and 12th class from a school situated with in the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates.

  1. The Physically Handicapped candidates having disability of lower limbs from 50% to 70% are eligible and may apply as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India.
  2. In the event of all the seats reserved for PH category not being filled up from among the Physically Handicapped candidates with the above stipulated physical disability then the seats will be offered to the candidates within the physically disability of 40% to 50%.

Securities Markets Programme Eligibility & Admission Procedure

A. Eligibility criteria
The applicants of the programme should possess:
A Master’s Degree of two years duration from a recognised Indian university
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree of three years duration from a recognised Indian university with minimum of two years post qualification relevant experience

The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.

B. Admission Procedure
It consists of a written test and a personal interview. The written test would attempt to assess the following attributes of a candidate:

  1. Quantitative aptitude;
  2. Analytical and reasoning skills; and
  3. Language proficiency.

The duration of the test would be 120 minutes.


The second list of candidates will be announced on the Institute's website on May 16, 2008 depending on the vacancies. They are required to pay their tuition fees and complete all the formalities before May 23, 2008.

The Institute has a policy of reserving a few seats for industry sponsored candidates and overseas students.

1. Sponsored candidates: IICM has a policy for admitting sponsored candidates upto a maximum of five students. They are exempted from admission test / written test and they will have to appear for Personal interview/ group discussions.

2. Overseas students: IICM would be giving preference for the aspiring overseas/ foreign students upto a maximum of five seats subject to approval of the competent authority.

Note: In case of sponsored candidates and overseas students are not taking admissions these seats will be accordingly allotted to the overall seats.


Candidates selected for interview will be required to present the originals and submit the photocopies of the following documents at the time of interview:


1. Graduation/Post Graduation certificate issued by the University / recognized institute.

2. Statement of marks of Graduation / Post Graduation examination issued by the / recognized institute.

3. Birth date certificate (i.e. S.S.C., School leaving certificate or birth certificate issued by the Municipal authority).

4. Experience certificate from the employer, if any.

IICM SMP Fee and Deposits, SMP at IICM

The details of the fee payable to the Institute towards one- year SMP course is as follows:

The total fee is Rs. 1,80,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Eighty Thousand only) for the entire year. The fee is payable in two equal installments. The first installment of Rs.90,000/- shall become due for payment on or before commencement of the programme and the second and final installment of the remaining Rs.90,000/- shall become due for payment before the commencement of the second term. Late fee attracts interest (this is applicable only for second and final installment). Fee is non-refundable. The break-up of fees is as under :

Financial markets across the world are getting integrated and complex due to technological advancements and marketising of most of the erstwhile closed economies. The thrust of the one-year full-time Securities Markets Programme (SMP) is to prepare a cadre of professionals primarily for careers in the securities markets. SMP inputs are designed to:

a) The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as amended upto date. (As per G.O.Ms No.25 dated 19-3-2004 and G.O.Ms No 108, Higher Education Department dated 30-07-2005 and its amendment )

b) The candidates other than Indian nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.


c) A pass (or) appearance at the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree (except BOL and BFA) of any University in Andhra Pradesh or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto.


d) The candidates seeking admission into MBA course should have passed a Bachelor's Degree Examination of not less than three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent thereof besides passing SSC or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.


e) The candidates seeking admission into MCA course should have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination of not less than 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level (OR) should have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination of not less than 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.


f) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET exam

g) Admission into any college depends on its recognition/affiliation by the respective Statutory Bodies.

Pass or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST) with age between 17 and 25 years as on 31.12.2009 (relaxable up to 3 years for SC/ST candidates).

Pass or appearing in 2009 three years Bachelor's Degree examination in any discipline with pass in Mathematics at 10+2 level

Business Administration (MBA)

(C)
For admission to Second Year Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy under Lateral Entry

Pass or appearing in 3 years diploma course in Engineering and Pharmacy with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate from SCTE&VT, Orissa or equivalent

(D)
For admission to Second Year Engineering/Technology under Lateral Entry

Pass or appearing in 2009, for the Bachelor's Degree examination of three years duration in Science from any University of Orissa or equivalent recognised by UGC and have passed with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate(First Division) with Mathematics at +3 level

(E)
For admission to Second Year Pharmacy under Lateral Entry

Pass or appearing in 2009, for the Bachelor's Degree examination of three years duration in Science from any University of Orissa or equivalent recognised by UGC and have passed with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate ( First Division) with Biology at +3 level.
The ratio of distribution of seats under lateral entryfor Diploma : B. Sc. is 80:20

RESERVATION
The percentage of seats to be reserved for different categories is subject to change and the decision of the State Government as on the date of admission will be applicable.

OUTSIDE STATE CANDIDATE
Outside State candidates are not eligible for admission in Govt. Colleges but they are eligible for admission to Privates Colleges except private Medical Colleges in MBBS courses.

For admission to first year of B.Tech./B.Pharm./B.Arch./BHMCT candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2 level or equivalent) examination of Uttarakhand Board or from any recognized Board.

For admission to first year of B.Arch., candidate must have minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate of qualifying examination along with NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) score. The candidate possessing three year Diploma in Architecture (10+3) with minimum 50% marks are also eligible for admission to first year of B.Arch. only.

For admission to first year of MCA/MBA, candidate must have passed three years degree course (with mathematics as one subject at 10+2 or graduation level for MCA only) from any recognized University.

The admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech., the candidate must have passed three years 'Diploma in Engineering‘ or three years 'B.Sc. degree with mathematics as one subject' and securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

The admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Pharm, the candidate must have passed 'Diploma in Pharmacy' and securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

The candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in UKSEE -2009 subject to the condition that they will fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of counseling.

Admission: Admission to degree courses in Engineering (B.Tech.)/ Pharmacy (B.Pharm.)/ Architecture (B.Arch.)/ Hotel Management (BHMCT) and Post Graduate Courses MCA/MBA of Govt. NOTIFICATION MHT-CET-2009

Government of Maharashtra shall conduct a single combined “Common Entrance Test” MHT-CET-2009 for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2009-2010. The said CET will be held on Thursday, 7th May 2009.
