GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE EXAMINATION FORM
1. Students are required to pay examination fee @Rs.50/- per course if the student is appearing for the first time or failed in earlier examinations for theory as well as practical. A late fee of Rs.300/- from 1st October to 20th October also needs to be included, if submitted during this period.
2. Mode of payment - Credit Card and Bank Draft . Please select mode of payment.
3. In case of payment through bank draft, please keep the bank draft particulars ready with you before you proceed further. After filling all the particulars including the bank draft details, please submit the examination form on line and note the auto generated control number. You should quote the auto generated control number, your name, enrolment number and programme on the reverse of the bank draft and send the bank draft by registered post/speed post to the Registrar, Student Evaluation Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.
4. If you wish to submit on-line form and make payment through Credit Card, please note the auto generated control No. for reference. In case you wish to make payment through credit card, a transaction fee of Rs.5/- will be charged extra.
5. No Examination Fee is required to be paid for the courses, where results of Jun 2009 Term-end examination are awaited on the date of submission of examination form. Results of Jun 2009 Term-end examination are available on University website www.ignou.ac.in. Please see result status before filling examination form. Click here to see the result status of Jun 2009 Examination. However, if the student does not secure minimum pass marks in June, 2009 TEE, he/she will be required to pay examination fee for these courses for appearing in December, 2009 TEE.
6. Select and enter Programme code and Examination Centre Code from the options available. If the centre opted by the student is not activated as examination centre or not allotted for any other reason, alternative examination centre will be allotted.
7. Select courses carefully. Courses for theory as well as practical needs to be selected separately from the list appearing on the screen.
8. You will receive an acknowledgement with control number at the E-mail address given in the application form.
9. You may visit SEARCH OPTION to after 24 hours of submission of your form (leaving the day of submission except Saturday & Sunday) to see the details of particulars submitted by you. In case you find the particulars are not available, you may submit the form again.
10. University issues hall-ticket to the students two weeks before commencement of Term-end Examination and also uploads the information on the university website. If you do not receive hall-ticket one week before commencement of examination, please download the hall-ticket from the website and report to the Examination Centre with your Identity Card issued by the University.
11. Students will be allowed to appear in Term-end Examination for those courses only whose registration is valid and have completed the prescribed minimum duration of study.

- Information Brochure containing Application form can be obtained in person or by post from the office of the Organizing Chairperson, NIPER-JEE 2009 on submission of non refundable Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/-(Rs.500/- for SC/ST) payable at S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali)/Chandigarh in favour of “NIPER-JEE 2009” along with two duly typed self-addressed Slips with name (10 cms X 6 cms). Indian nationals residing abroad and foreign nationals have to remit US$100 by bank draft payable to “NIPER-JEE 2009”. Payment by cheque/postal order will not be accepted. Candidates desirous of obtaining information brochure by post should clearly mention the name of the programme in the application and on the top of the envelope carrying the request letter.
- The candidates will have to make their own arrangement for travel and boarding for attending test/GD/Interview/Counselling.

Candidates should have a minimum CGPA of 6.75 (or 60% marks) for General, 6.25 (or 55% marks) for SC/ST, 5.75 (or 50% marks) for physically handicapped (PH) candidates on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination and also have valid GATE/NET qualification. A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (1 0+3) recognized by Central State
Govt., is also eligible for admission to first year of B. Arch. only, provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of B. Arch. papers (paper 2 & 6) mentioned above.
3. For admission to first year of MBA candidate must have passed three years degree course from any recognized University.
4. For admission to first year of MCA. candidate must have passed three years degree course from any recognized University with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at bachelor degree level.
5. For admission to second year (lateral entry) of B. Tech. the candidate must have passed three

Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow 226021 by sending a MICR bank draft of Rs. 1050.00 for General/OBC and Rs. 550.00 for SC/ST and female candidates of all categories in favour of Finance Officer, U. P. Technical University, Lucknow along with two self addressed stickers. The request for supply of application form by post will not be entertained after 21.02.2009.
The last date of reciept of duly filled OMR Application form In the office of Registrar (SEE). U.P. Technical University, lET Campus Sitapur Road, Lucknow 226 021 will be 09.03.2009. The applications will be received in the University office by Registered/Speed Post only.The application form received after the due date and time shall not be accepted. The

The total amount (i.e., cost of application form plus Rs.100/-) has to be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS BOARD” payable at Howrah/Kolkata. The last date for request by post for application-kit is 18.12.2008 and the last date for receipt of completed application form by Speed Post only is 14.01.2009. Request for application form received beyond the stipulated date as mentioned above will not be entertained and the Board shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for such non-receipt arising out of postal delay. The Application Kit may also be obtained from the Board’s Office only with payment of late fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in addition to the actual cost of the form. The whole amount is to be paid through a Bank Draft to be drawn in favour of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable at Kolkata / Howrah from 01.01.2009 to 07.01.2009. Eligibility Criteria :
The applicant must be a citizen of India and should have passed the H.S.(10+2) or its equivalent examination. The general candidates must have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates) and at least 30% marks in English (for all categories). In addition, candidates must secure at least pass marks in the subjects individually including vernacular (or any other fifth subject) as mentioned below:
B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch :Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and vernacular or any other fifth subject.
M.B.B.S/B.D.S. : Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and vernacular or any other fifth subject.
PHARMACY: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English and vernacular or any other fifth subject.
For MBBS and BDS courses : In addition to the aforesaid eligibility criteria, the general candidates must have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biological Sciences taken together (40% for SC/ST) in the Joint Entrance Examination, W.B.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2009 will be allowed to sit for JEM-2009 provisionally and their admission, if merit listed, will be subjected to satisfying the minimum requirements of eligibility as specified above.
Age Restriction :
Candidates must be 17 (seventeen) years of age or above as on 31.12.2009. There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering course for which the upper age limit is 20 years as on 01.01.2009.
Residential Requirements:
Candidates desirous of seeking admission to Government Engineering / Technology Colleges, Govt. Medical and Dental Colleges as well as to Private Medical and Dental Colleges, must have been residing in the State of West Bengal continuously at least for last 10 (ten) years as on 31.12.2008 or their parents must be permanent resident of West Bengal having their permanent home addresses in the State of West Bengal.
Reservation :
Reservation for SC/ST/PC candidates are as per State Govt. Rules.
